Davis broke his own school record in the 60-meter dash and reached a pair of NCAA provisional qualifying standards on Friday at the Penn State Tune-Up. He won the finals of the 60 meters with a time of 6.74 seconds to improve his school record by four-hundredths of a second. Davis placed second in the 200-meter dash with a season-best time of 21.46 seconds, which ranks as the fastest in the PSAC this year by four-tenths of a second.
