Bernarding placed third overall on Saturday morning while competing at the PSAC Championships hosted by Kutztown. He posted a time of 25 minutes, 37.1 seconds over the eight-kilometer course and finished just 2.3 seconds behind the individual league champion. Bernarding, who received All-PSAC First-Team honors for a consecutive season, helped the Vulcans place sixth in the team standings with their second-best score at the event in the last nine years.
