McCaskey posted a .444 average with six extra-base hits and 11 runs scored over eight games, as the Vulcans split four doubleheaders last week. He totaled five RBI and finished with an .815 slugging percentage while starting at four different positions. McCaskey went a combined 3-for-6 with four runs scored and one walk in the twinbill at Salem on Wednesday. Over the weekend, the Deer Lakes product finished 9-for-19 with a three-run homer and nine runs scored in four-game series against Slippery Rock. McCaskey also earned the victory in the final game of the series with The Rock, allowing three runs (all earned) over 5.0 innings. The two-way standout went a combined 3-for-8 with a solo homer, two RBI and two runs scored in a doubleheader at Gannon on Monday. McCaskey currently holds a 19-game hitting streak, the longest for the program since the 2015 season.
