Bernarding broke a pair of school records and reached the NCAA standard in the 800-meter run over the weekend while competing at the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell. He broke the 37-year old school record in the 1,500-meter run by eight-tenths of a second with a time of 3 minutes, 49.50 seconds. Bernarding registered the PSAC’s fastest in the event since the 2022 campaign. The 5-foot-10 senior also broke his own school record in the 800 meters, set last week, by five-hundredths of a second after crossing the finish line in 1:50.79.
