McClurg averaged 24.0 points per game on a .552 field-goal percentage last week, as California advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. He also posted 2.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals while playing 39.5 minutes per game. McClurg scored 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting and added three rebounds, five assists and two steals on Friday in a 96-80 victory over seventh-seeded West Virginia State. The 6-foot-3 sophomore then tallied 22 points on 7-of-15 from the floor, including three-of-five from long range, and two assists in a 68-67 loss to third-seeded Charleston (W.Va.) on Saturday.
