Charney became the first Vulcan to record three interceptions in a game since 2005 on Saturday, as California posted a 41-14 win against Seton Hill on Homecoming. He totaled 77 yards on the interceptions, highlighted by a 49-yard return for a touchdown in the second quarter. Charney also set a season high with six tackles in addition to being the first player in the PSAC since 2018 to register a three-interceptions performance.
