Watson claimed medalist honors for the first time in his career on Saturday at the Mercyhurst Fall Invitational. He won the event by three strokes with a four-under 140 (70-70) after collecting seven birdies while playing at the Lake View Country Club. Watson, who played only three holes over par, is the first California golfer to capture an individual title since April 2021.
