Bernarding won the 1-mile run and set a personal record in the event on Friday while at the Youngstown State Icebreaker. He posted a time of 4 minutes, 17.02 seconds to win the event by eight-hundredths of a second. Bernarding boasts the top mark in the PSAC this year in the 1 mile by over 4.3 seconds.
