Jackson tied the single-game school record for receptions on Saturday after the mark stood unmatched for over 50 years. He finished with 13 receptions for 179 yards and two touchdowns in a 26-23 overtime loss at No. 4 Shepherd, which advanced to the national semifinals last year. Jackson tied the school-best mark of 13 receptions initially established by Pete Gialames in 1968.
