Rister finished with a 2.205 OPS (on-base plus slugging) and registered a pair of complete-game shutouts over four games last week, as Cal U opened play at THE Spring Games in Florida. She posted a .615 average with three homers, nine RBI and seven runs scored from the leadoff spot. On Saturday, Rister went 3-for-3 with a three-run homer and two runs scored, plus allowed three hits over 5.0 scoreless innings with five strikeouts in a victory against Holy Family (Pa.). The Ohio native posted a solo homer and scored two runs versus Lewis (Ill.) later on Saturday. Rister returned to the circle in the win over Mary (N.D.) on Sunday, yielding four hits over 5.0 innings with five strikeouts, plus posted five RBI behind a three-run homer. On Monday, she reached base twice and scored one run against St. Cloud State (Minn.).
