McCaskey claimed All-America laurels at utility/pitcher following a standout spring as a two-way player. He also received all-region laurels at shortstop from multiple organizations, plus was named to the All-PSAC West First-Team. McCaskey led the team in virtually every offensive category while setting numerous career highs, including a .357 batting average, 10 home runs and 48 RBI. The 6-foot-0 junior started games at all four infield positions this year and also made five pitching appearances. He finished with a 2-1 record and one save over 23.0 innings pitched with 32 strikeouts.
