Bobby Sepesy

A mainstay of the department, Bobby Sepesy is in his 14th year serving as the Strength & Conditioning coach with the Vulcans.

Sepesy oversees the strength & conditioning for all the intercollegiate sports at Cal U. He works directly with student-athletes from the men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s and women’s cross country, women’s soccer, swimming, men’s and women’s track & field and volleyball teams.

Additionally, he has served as the faculty/staff advisor for the strength and fitness club at Cal U since 2010 and is the weight training coach for the ROTC at the university since 2019.

Sepesy assisted with the strength & conditioning at Holy Cross (Mass.), a NCAA Division I athletics program, prior to arriving at Cal U.
 
A nationally-ranked bodybuilder, Sepesy holds many titles including Mr. Pittsburgh in 2005 and Mr. Lehigh Valley in 2002. He was also named runner-up at the Junior Nationals in 2005.

Sepesy and his wife Rachel, a former swimmer and assistant coach at Cal U, reside in Monessen, Pennsylvania, with their two sons, Isaac and Eli.
