A former three-time All-PSAC West selection, Mackenzie Greene enters her first season as an assistant coach at California (PA) in 2025.

Greene, formerly Mackenzie Biggs, was a standout at Clarion from 2013-16 and helped the Golden Eagles register back-to-back 30-win seasons. She earned All-PSAC West honors in each of her last three seasons, highlighted by first-team laurels as a junior.

Greene finished her career with 900-plus kills and almost 300 blocks, as Clarion made three-consecutive appearances in the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the 2015 PSAC Championship. The Golden Eagles finished first in the divisional standings in both her freshman and sophomore campaigns with 20 league victories each year and later advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Greene established career highs in kills, blocks and points as a junior while helping the program play in the finals of the PSAC Tournament for the second time in six years.

Following her collegiate career, Greene has coached at the scholastic and club levels around the Pittsburgh area. She recently completed two years as the head coach at Chartiers Valley following a tenure at Fort Cherry. Additionally, Greene has worked as the director and coach at Sky Elite Volleyball Club in Pittsburgh since 2021.

Greene was a two-sport athlete at the scholastic level, as she played volleyball and basketball at Hopewell. The Vikings won the WPIAL Class 2A Championship in 2011 before finishing as the runners-up the following year.

In the private sector, Greene serves as speech language pathologist in the Sto-Rox School District. She previously spent two years in Ohio working in the East Liverpool School District and has experience at River Pediatric Therapies in Pittsburgh and Stonerise Healthcare in Morgantown.

Greene earned her bachelor's degree in speech pathology & audiology from Clarion in 2017. She completed master's degree from Clarion two years later in speech pathology & audiology.
