A former player with the program, Sara Pearlman enters her second year as a volunteer assistant at California (PA) in 2022.
Pearlman appeared in six games a reserve with the Vulcans from 2018-19 before the 2020 campaign was canceled in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. She received PSAC Scholar-Athlete status in each of her three years with the program.
At the scholastic level, Pearlman was a two-sport athlete and achieved Salutatorian status at Plum. She earned all-conference honorable mention in soccer as a senior after helping the Mustangs win the section title the previous year.
Pearlman graduated from Cal summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in computer science in 2021 before completing her master’s degree in cybersecurity from Robert Morris the following year. She is now working in the private sector as a penetration tester for Ethical Intruder, a computer security service, in Pittsburgh.
