A former pitcher within the PSAC, Alex Greenlee enters her first season as a volunteer coach with the Cal U softball program in 2022.
Greenlee, formerly Alex Puckly, played at Mercyhurst in 2014-15 after spending two seasons at Mercyhurst North East. She posted a 13-18 record and a 4.56 ERA over 190.2 innings pitched with the Lakers. Greenlee made a combined 41 appearances in the circle, including 31 starts, and recorded over 100 strikeouts.
A native of Corry, Pennsylvania, Greenlee was a standout pitcher at Mercyhurst North East while playing at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II level. She was named a NFCA Second-Team All-American in 2012 as a freshman while posting a 17-6 record and a 1.92 ERA in 142.1 innings pitched. The following year, Greenlee finished with a 9-3 mark and a 2.67 ERA over 13 appearances for the Saints.
Greenlee graduated from Mercyhurst with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management in 2015.
She serves as a service coordinator with All Abilities, Inc. Greenlee and her husband Brett reside in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, with their three sons, Barrett, Puck and Miller.
