A native of Pittsburgh, Andrew Geisler enters his second year working with the defensive backs as a volunteer assistant.
Last year, Geisler helped Cal U lead the PSAC in passing defense at 176.2 yards per game. The Vulcans also finished among the top 10 in the country in scoring defense at 16.7 points per game.
Geisler was a defensive lineman at Saint Vincent from 2012-15. He ranked second on the Bearcats with 8.5 TFL as a sophomore and finished his career with 18.5 TFL. Geisler helped the program rebound from back-to-back winless seasons to earn four wins in 2014 with each victory coming in conference play. Saint Vincent again tallied four victories during his senior campaign.
A two-sport athlete at Shady Side Academy, Geisler completed his bachelor’s degree in biology from Saint Vincent in 2016.
