Athletic Communication
Athletic Communciation (previously Sports Information) is located on the second floor of the Hamer Hall. The primary function of the Athletic Communication office is to publicize and promote all 18 intercollegiate sports for the California (PA) Vulcans in the local, state and national media. The Athletic Communication office is also responsible for maintaining contact with the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and the NCAA statistical services in addition to maintaining the department’s web site, keeping photo files, submitting statistical updates, photography and historical research.

Take the California Exit (bear right at end of exit). Stay straight toward Wood Street. Follow Wood Street down to intersection at Third Street (at stoplight). At stoplight, turn right onto Third Street and follow straight onto campus.

Statistics and Media Services
Rosters and other select material will be furnished to the working media prior to game time. Complete statistical information will be available to the media at the conclusion of all Cal home athletic events. Telephone lines and wireless internet are available for media use at select athletic venues. Please contact a member of the Athletic Communication staff to request usage of this service.

Interviews
All requests for player and coach interviews must be made through the Director of Athletic Communication. Pre-event and feature story interviews should be arranged at least 24 hours in advance. Post-event interviews of student-athletes and coaches will be available following a 10-minute "cooling off" period after each home game. Post-game interviews of visiting players and coaches will be available upon request.
Audio and Video Streaming
In coordination with CUTV and WCAL, the Athletic Communication office will provide live audio and video streaming of select events throughout the season.

Credentials
Credentials are limited to working print and electronic media representatives and to others whose duties make necessary the use of press row. Photography credentials are also available to the media and must be requested. Please direct all requests for working credentials to the Director of Athletic Communication at least 48 hours in advance of an event being covered.
