CALIFORNIA (Sept. 5) – Following a scoreless first half, the Vulcans allowed a pair of goals within a seven-minute span early in the second half to drop a 2-0 contest against Lock Haven on Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action at the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility.
NOTES
• California (1-2, 1-2) and Lock Haven flipped home games earlier in the week due to severe weather and resulting damage in North Central Pennsylvania.
• The Bald Eagles are playing in the PSAC West for the first time since 2009.
• The teams combined for 14 shots, including five shots on goal, in the scoreless first half.
• Cal made a goalkeeper change at halftime for the second-straight game and Lock Haven took a 1-0 lead at the 50:41 mark.
• The Bald Eagles added to the lead in the 58th minute and limited the Vulcans to a single shot on goal for the remainder of the game.
