CALIFORNIA (Sept. 17) – The California (PA) athletic department has announced it will host a tribute honoring the memory of former Vulcan women's soccer player Karoline Heintz on Oct. 17 when the team hosts Slippery Rock at the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility.

Heintz, a first-year student and member of the California women's soccer team, passed away in August just prior to the start of the fall semester.

The pregame tribute will include multiple special recognitions in Heintz's memory. BeeGraphix and members of the women's soccer team will present a donation to Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern Pennsylvania (DVSSP) as part of a fundraising effort held in Heintz's honor.

The Vulcans will honor Heintz throughout the afternoon, as they join the California campus and community in remembering their teammate and friend.
