Cal features 20 honorees on academic team

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (June 3) – A total of 20 California (PA) student-athletes, representing seven spring sports, were named to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Spring 2026 Academic All-Conference Team on Wednesday afternoon.

The PSAC Academic All-Conference teams consist of undergraduate and graduate student-athletes who have completed two seasons of eligibility and four academic semesters while maintaining a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade-point average. Student-athletes in team sports (baseball, basketball, field hockey, football, lacrosse, soccer, softball, volleyball) must also meet a participation requirement of appearing in at least 70 percent of their team's contests through the conference championship date. Student-athletes in individual sports (cross country, golf, swimming, tennis, track & field wrestling) must meet sport-specific participation criteria.

In total, 382 student-athletes across all 17 PSAC programs qualified for the Spring 2026 Academic All-Conference Team.

The PSAC Academic All-Conference Team was created this year to expand academic recognition for high-achieving student-athletes, a priority emphasized by the league's membership in its most recent Strategic Plan. Note, the GPA used for nominations was calculated through Spring 2025.
