LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (April 7) – A total of three California (PA) student-athletes, representing three winter sports, were named to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Winter 2025-26 Academic All-Conference Team on Tuesday afternoon.
The PSAC Academic All-Conference teams consist of undergraduate and graduate student-athletes that completed two seasons of eligibility and four academic semesters while maintaining a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade-point average. For winter team sports (men's basketball, women's basketball), student-athletes must also meet a participation requirement of appearing in at least 70 percent of their team's contests through the conference championship date. Student-athletes in individual sports (swimming) must meet sport-specific participation criteria. Additionally, the indoor track & field teams will be combined with the outdoor track & field teams and those student-athletes will be honored following the spring semester.
In total, 121 student-athletes across all 17 PSAC programs qualified for the Winter 2025-26 Academic All-Conference Team. Cal has now had 22 total student-athletes recognized between the fall (19) and the winter (three) Academic All-PSAC teams during the 2025-26 academic year.
The PSAC Academic All-Conference Team was created this year to expand academic recognition for high achieving student-athletes, a priority emphasized by the league's membership in its most recent Strategic Plan. The GPA used for nominations were calculated through the previous completed semester (Fall 2025).
