MURRYSVILLE, Pa. (March 17) – In its first match since its spring trip, the California (PA) tennis team rolled to a 6-1 win against fellow Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) member Kutztown on Tuesday afternoon at the Murrysville Racquet Club.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (7-6) have posted a 3-3 mark while playing all six PSAC East programs this year.
• Cal swept doubles play for the second time this spring to secure the doubles point.

Fernanda Sandoval Martinez opened the match with a 6-1 win at the second position before senior
Diletta Maria Mungo and sophomore
Garance Laforet posted a 6-1 victory at the first slot.

Gianna Bloom and senior
Leandra Guldimann added a 6-2 win at third doubles.
• Mungo and Laforet registered their team-leading 10th doubles victory of the season.
• The Vulcans clinched the match win following six victories in the singles session.
• Laforet earned a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the second position and Schreiber totaled a 6-1, 6-2 win at third singles.

Sofia Rodriguez registered a 6-1, 6-2 win at the fourth slot, while sophomore
Izabelle Heacox finished with a 6-4, 6-2 victory at the fifth position.
• Mungo posted a 6-4, 7-6 (8-6) win while playing at first singles for the second time this season.
