CALIFORNIA (Oct. 23) – The Vulcans fell by a 3-0 margin (25-16, 27-25, 25-15) against Gannon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action on Friday evening at the Convocation Center while playing their first home match in nearly two weeks.
NOTES
• California (8-16, 2-7) has lost eight of its last nine matches dating back to Sept. 29.
• Freshman
Madelyn Salisbury led the team with 7.5 points on six kills and three blocks.
• Junior
Kasie Meek and sophomore
Olivia Weiseman tied Salisbury for the team lead with six kills.
• Six different players finished with at least 10 attempts, as the Vulcans managed just a .050 hitting percentage.
• Freshmen
Gracen Hartman and
Molly Smiddy both collected 13 assists against the Golden Knights.
• Weiseman led the team with 14 digs, while junior
Tori Newton and freshman
Aubrey Bumblis added 11 and 10 digs, respectively.
