JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (Oct. 16) – Playing its lone match of the weekend, the California (PA) volleyball team dropped a 3-1 contest (22-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-12) at Pitt-Johnstown on Friday evening in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (8-15, 2-6) have lost seven of their last eight matches in the series with the Mountain Cats.
• Sophomore
Olivia Weiseman recorded her fifth kill/dig double-double this month, as she finished with 12 kills and 12 digs.
• Freshman
Abby Tucker tallied 14 points behind 11 kills and three blocks, while freshman
Madelyn Salisbury posted eight kills.
• Freshmen
Gracen Hartman and
Molly Smiddy finished with 19 and 17 assists, respectively.
• Defensively, freshman
Aubrey Bumblis led the team with 13 digs.
