Kimaya Williams collected the most rebounds in a game in over two decades, as the California (PA) women's basketball team earned a 70-50 victory over East Stroudsburg in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Crossover action on Friday afternoon at the Convocation Center.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (8-7, 4-1) allowed a season-low 50 points while opening the 2026 calendar year.
• Williams registered 22 rebounds (nine offensive), while adding six assists and four steals in the victory.
• She became the first player with at least 20 rebounds in a game since the 2022-23 campaign, while her total ranks as the most since Sameera Philyaw tallied 23 rebounds at Cheyney on Jan. 3, 2004.
• The 22 rebounds are tied for second-most in a game in NCAA Division II this season.

Macy Sardone tied for the team lead with 15 points against the Warriors.
• Young shot 7-of-15 from the floor and totaled four rebounds and four steals.
• Sardone converted five-of-eight from beyond the arc while playing just 14 minutes off the bench.

Hope Hawkins posted nine rebounds and five rebounds.
• Cal scored the opening eight points of the game and held a 19-9 lead at the end of the first quarter after limiting ESU to 3-of-12 shooting.
• The Vulcans extended the lead to 14 points, 26-12, at the 4:56-mark of the second quarter before taking a 34-23 lead at the break with Williams recording 14 rebounds in the first half.
• Cal again stretched the lead to 14 points, 50-36, with 3:11 left in third quarter before being held scoreless for the remainder of the quarter.
• The Warriors trailed by single digits with seven minutes remaining before the Vulcans closed the game on a 16-5 run behind a trio of three-pointers by Sardone.
• Cal finished the game shooting 41.5 percent (27-of-65) from the floor, while holding ESU to a .317 clip (20-of-63).
• The Vulcans set a season high in rebounds while holding a 49-35 rebounding advantage in the victory.
