CALIFORNIA (Sept. 4) – The California (PA) football team edged defending-MEC Champion Charleston (WV) with a 23-19 victory at Adamson Stadium, highlighted by a 76-yard punt return for a touchdown and a last-minute interception.
California (PA) improved to 1-0 on the season, ranked No. 14 nationally. The Golden Eagles fell to 1-1 overall, holding the No. 12 national ranking.
1ST QUARTER
