ERIE, Pa. (Nov. 8) – Junior
Kendrick Agenor rushed for three touchdowns in the second half, as the California (PA) football team claimed a 41-21 win at Gannon on Saturday afternoon in the final week of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (7-3, 3-3) finish league play tied for third in the divisional standings.
• Cal has won at least seven games 20 times over the last 21 years.
• Agenor finished with 153 rushing yards and three touchdowns on just nine attempts, averaging 17.0 yards per carry.

Deontae Williams returned a punt 69 yards for a touchdown – marking the third-straight game he has scored on special teams (kickoff returns in the previous two).
• He finished with game with 132 all-purpose yards on seven touches (75 punt, 51 kickoff, six receiving).

• Eight of the 10 teams in the rankings posted victories in Week 10, as Assumption (No. 4) and Slippery Rock (No. 7) both suffered losses.

• The teams traded fumbles on their opening possessions before Gannon later took a 7-0 lead on a 23-yard touchdown pass with 5:59 left in the first quarter.
• The Vulcans responded on the next drive with a 49-yard touchdown run by sophomore quarterback
Phaeton Hill on third down at the 4:02-mark.
• Cal then claimed a 14-7 lead on a 69-yard punt return by Williams with 1:56 left in the first quarter.
• The Vulcans held the Golden Knights to only 104 yards of total offense on 36 plays in the first half to take a 14-7 lead into halftime.
• Agenor scored his initial touchdown on the second offensive play of the third quarter, a 42-yard run at the 14:09-mark.
• Gannon countered with a 49-yard touchdown pass with 8:40 left in the quarter before tying the score at 21-21 on a five-yard touchdown pass with 11:28 remaining in the fourth quarter.
• Agenor registered a 77-yard touchdown run just 21 seconds later – the program's longest run since the 2023 season – to reclaim the lead.
• Cal forced a turnover on downs before Agenor added a 13-yard touchdown run to extend the lead to 35-21 with 5:55 left to play.
