CALIFORNIA (Sept. 21) – The Vulcans received goals from three different players on Saturday night while rolling to a 3-0 win against Clarion in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play at the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility.
NOTES
• California (3-2-1, 2-1) has scored three goals twice in the last three games.
• The start of the game was delayed over three hours due to lightning in the area that forced multiple stoppages in the previous men's contest.
• The Vulcans raced out to a 1-0 lead in the ninth minute with a goal from sophomore
Veronica Warunek, her third of the year.
• Cal extended its advantage shortly after halftime with a tally by junior
Izabella DeGlopper, the first of her career, at the 47:32-mark.
• The Vulcans added an insurance goal in the 64th minute by junior
Kaylee Elwood.
• Senior goalkeeper
Emily Ouimet made three saves while recording her 12th career shutout.
• She is now tied with Meghan Jayes (2013-16) for fourth place in school history with 322 career saves.
