SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. (April 26) – In the final weekend of the regular season, the California (PA) tennis team suffered a 7-0 loss at Slippery Rock on Friday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.
RECORDS/SERIES
• The Vulcans fall to 9-12 this season with a 2-3 mark in divisional play.
• The Rock extends its winning streak to six matches while improving to 12-6 overall behind a 5-1 record in league action.
• Slippery Rock has won the last seven matches in the series dating back to the 2017 campaign.
MATCH NOTES
• The Rock earned the doubles point after sweeping the session on Friday.
• Slippery Rock opened the match with a 6-0 win at third doubles before securing the point with a 6-1 victory at the second slot.

Maria Del Mar Ojeda suffered a 7-5 loss at the first position.
• Slippery Rock claimed the match victory after winning all six singles matches in straight sets.
• At the second slot, Guldimann dropped a 6-2, 6-2 match to senior Gabriela del Val del Toro – an All-PSAC West First-Team selection last season.
