EDINBORO, Pa. (March 2) – The No. 8 Vulcans scored their most points in a game in over 15 years and reached the 25-win mark for first time since the 2007-08 campaign while rolling to a 109-82 victory at Edinboro in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play on Saturday afternoon.

• The California (PA) men's basketball team closes the regular season at 25-3 overall with a 19-3 mark in conference action.
• The Vulcans have secured the second seed and a first-round bye in next week's PSAC Tournament.
• The Fighting Scots finish the year with a 7-21 mark behind a 6-16 record in league play.
• Cal has won the last eight meetings in the series, plus has won five-straight games at the McComb Fieldhouse.

KJ McClurg scored a game-high 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting, including five-of-nine from long range.
• The league's leading scorer, he has posted at least 25 points in a game 11 times this season.

Bryson Lucas registered 15 points and six rebounds in the victory.

Antoine Arnett posted nine points, three rebounds and two blocks while playing 20 minutes off the bench.

• The Vulcans mounted a 17-4 run over three minutes in the first half to seize a 35-21 lead at the 9:15-mark.
• Cal later closed the first half on a 24-6 rally over five-plus minutes to enter the break with a 66-37 advantage.
• The Vulcans shot nearly 63 percent from the floor in the first half after going 9-of-13 from long range.
• Cal led by as many 30 points multiple times in the second half on Saturday.
• The Vulcans finished the game with a .545 field-goal percentage (42-of-77), including a season-best 57.9 percent (11-of-19) from beyond the arc.
• The Vulcans scored their most points in a game since totaling 120 points against Penn State-Greater Allegheny in the season-opener during the 2007-08 campaign.
• Additionally, Cal earned its 25th win for the sixth time in program history.
• Edinboro senior Jack Gallagher led the team with 24 points and added 10 rebounds and three assists in the loss.
