WEST CHESTER, Pa. (Dec. 6) – The Vulcans were forced to use their fourth different starting lineup this year due to injuries on Friday afternoon while being dealt a 77-60 loss at West Chester in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Crossover play.

• California (PA) (6-4, 1-2) have lost four-straight games after opening the year with six-consecutive victories.
• Freshman
Keondre DeShields led the team with a season-high 18 points in his first career start.
• He shot five-of-eight from the floor, including three-of-four from long range, and added seven rebounds while playing 29 minutes.
• Classmate
Duncan Moy tied his season high with 13 points on 5-of-10 shooting, plus tallied five rebounds and three assists off the bench.
• Redshirt junior
Cam Polak added 10 points, four rebounds and three assists in 36 minutes.
• Sophomore
Dalman Alexander led the team with nine rebounds (three offensive) in his fourth-straight start.
• The Vulcans built a 22-15 lead with 9:05 left in the first half before taking a 37-31 lead at the break.
• West Chester opened the second half on a 16-6 run to claim a 47-43 lead with 12:49 remaining.
• The Golden Rams later extended the lead to 70-52 at the 4:44-mark behind an 18-4 rally.
• The Vulcans scored only 23 points in the second half after shooting just 26.7 percent (8-of-30) from the floor.
• West Chester finished the game with a 53-37 rebounding advantage behind 19 offensive rebounds.
