EDINBORO, Pa. (Oct. 27) – In the first of five-straight road matches, the California (PA) volleyball team was dealt a 3-0 loss (31-29, 25-22, 25-17) at Edinboro on Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (3-15, 0-9) have lost eight of the last nine meetings in the series with the Fighting Scots dating back to 2019.

Allie Droneberger recorded a team-high 13 kills on 42 attempts for a .214 hitting percentage.
• Freshman
Courtney Smith tallied eight kills and senior
Sophia Johnson finished with seven kills on Saturday.
• Junior
Adrianna Favata guided the offense with 21 assists and added 10 digs, while classmate
Mandy Altsman registered 10 assists.
• Junior libero
Caroline Mercer paced the defense with 16 digs and sophomore
Kay Lindenfelser collected 14 digs.
• Johnson controlled the net with five blocks and Droneberger posted with four blocks to finish the match with 16.5 points.
