PAINESVILLE, Ohio (Oct. 15) – The Vulcans scored the opening goal on Tuesday afternoon before falling by a 3-1 margin at Lake Erie (Ohio) in non-conference play.

• The Strom claimed a 2-1 advantage in the 69th minute when Leonie Witt converted a penalty kick, her sixth goal of the season.
• Lake Erie added an insurance goal at the 75:36-mark to extend the lead to a 3-1 margin.
