GAME ACTION
• The Vulcans mounted a 17-4 run early in the first half to seize a 24-9 lead at the 12:46-mark.
• Cal quickly stretched the lead with an 18-5 rally midway through the half to take its largest lead of the game at 44-20 with 6:38 left before the break.
• The Golden Eagles closed the half on a 10-5 run to cut the deficit to 54-38 at halftime.
• The Vulcans shot at a 58.3 clip (21-of-36) from the field in the first half, including 6-of-12 (50.0 percent) from long range.
• Clarion scored the initial four points of the second half to work the deficit to 54-42 at the 18:54-mark.
• The Vulcans countered with a 10-2 rally to increase the lead to 64-44 with 14:02 remaining.
• Cal later led by as many as 22 points, 76-54, in the second half with 10:03 left to play.
• The Golden Eagles out-scored the Vulcans by a 17-8 margin over five minutes to cut the deficit to 87-77 at the 3:31-mark.
