CALIFORNIA (Nov. 3) – The California (PA) women's soccer team closed the season with a 1-0 loss against No. 21 Mercyhurst in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action at the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility on Friday evening.
RECORDS/SERIES
• The Vulcans finish the fall with a 2-13-3 record behind a 1-12-3 mark in league play.
• The Lakers improve to 15-2-1 overall with a 14-1-1 record against conference teams.
• Mercyhurst swept the season series against Cal this season and extended its winning streak in the series to nine games.
• The Lakers clinched the top seed from the division in the upcoming PSAC Tournament and will host Seton Hill in the quarterfinals on Monday, Nov 6.
GAME ACTION
• Mercyhurst scored the lone goal of the contest at the 12:36-mark when Corinne Morgan tallied her 10th goal of the year, tied for third-most in the PSAC this fall.

• Ouimet finished the regular season as the PSAC leader with 100 total saves and tied for third in the league with 5.56 saves per game.
• She is the first Cal goalkeeper to record at least 100 saves multiple times in a career since Erin Cook accomplished the feat in back-to-back seasons in 2006 and 2007.
