CALIFORNIA (Oct. 25) – The California (PA) men's soccer team tallied a pair of goals in the opening 20-plus minutes on Wednesday evening before staving off a second-half rally to earn a 3-2 victory against Seton Hill in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action at the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility.
RECORDS/SERIES
• The Vulcans snapped a seven-game losing streak to improve to 4-11-1 this season behind a 2-6 record in league play.
• The Griffins drop to 4-10-1 overall with a 3-4-1 mark against divisional opponents.
• Cal and Seton Hill split the season series this year with the home team winning each contest, as the Vulcans also snapped a five-game losing streak in the series.

• Cal took a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute on a goal by junior
Corey McKoy off a double assist from freshman
Andriy Bilous and senior
Tyler Sims.
• The Vulcans added to lead at the 20:27-mark when freshman
Jacob Gretz scored his fourth goal of the year, unassisted.
• Seton Hill cut the deficit to 2-1 shortly after halftime when James Aubrey tallied his fourth goal of the fall in the 48th minute.
• Cal responded at the 55:35-mark when Bilous registered his fifth goal of the season with the assist being credited to sophomore goalkeeper
AJ Visco.
• The Griffins countered just over three minutes later in the 59th minute on an unassisted goal by Aubrey.
• Visco made five saves while facing nine shots in the contest.

• Bilous leads the team this season with 13 points on five goals and three assists.
• He posted the second game-winning goal of his career while also notching a goal and an assist for the first time.
• Gretz sits second on the Vulcans with 11 points on four goals and three assists.
• Visco is the first goalie to be credited with an assist since the 2018 campaign.
• The Vulcans scored their first goal in two weeks, as they were shutout in their previous three games.
