CALIFORNIA (Oct. 14) – Playing their first home game in two weeks, the Vulcans dropped a 3-1 contest against Gannon on Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action at the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility.
RECORDS/SERIES
• The California (PA) women's soccer team drops to 2-8-2 this season behind a 1-7-2 record in league play.
• The Lady Knights earned their eight-consecutive victory to improve to 10-2-1 overall with a 10-1 mark in divisional action.
• Gannon extended its unbeaten streak in the series to 12 games (11-0-1), as the Vulcans last posted a victory against the Lady Knights during the 2014 campaign.
GAME ACTION
• The Lady Knights took a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute on a goal by Grace Emanuel, her seventh goal of the year.
• Gannon extended the lead at the 24:01-mark with an unassisted goal by Brooklyn Respecki, who leads the PSAC with nine goals as a freshman.
