CALIFORNIA (Aug. 21) – The California University of Pennsylvania baseball program announced its recruiting class for the upcoming 2021 season on Friday afternoon.
These individuals have either signed national letters of intent (NLIs) or institutional letters expressing their desire to play baseball at Cal U. This year's recruiting class features 20 freshmen from five different states with 13 players from Pennsylvania, including eight different WPIAL schools.
"We have added depth at multiple positions with this class. We are very pleased with the athletic ability they possess," said head coach
Mike Conte. "This class has shown a great deal of size, strength and potential. We are eager to start working with them when the situation allows."
The Vulcans played 12 games last spring before the remainder of the season was cancelled in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
