MILLERSVILLE, Pa. (Dec. 1) – Freshman
Collin MacAdams (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) posted a consecutive double-double, as the Vulcans suffered an 84-63 loss at Millersville on Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Crossover play.
With the loss, the California University of Pennsylvania falls to 1-4 overall with an 0-1 mark in league action. Meanwhile, the Marauders snapped a two-game slide to improve to 4-3 this season behind a 1-0 record in league play.
MacAdams finished with 16 points on 6-of-14 shooting and tallied 10 rebounds in 40 minutes to post back-to-back double-doubles. He has totaled double-digit points and at least eight rebounds in four of the last five games while averaging 36.6 minutes per game.

Donte' Williams (Buffalo, N.Y./Bishop Timon) posted 12 points on four-of-nine attempts, including three-of-five from long range, and added nine rebounds in 24 minutes off the bench in his program debut. Sophomore transfer
Brent Pegram (Upper Marlboro, Md./Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr.) scored 11 points and collected a season-high six assists with three rebounds in 27 minutes.
The Vulcans opened with an 8-3 advantage at the 16:16-mark following a pair of three-pointers from MacAdams. The Marauders countered with a 12-2 rally after making five-of-seven shots, while Cal U made just one shot during the nearly three-minute stretch. Millersville continued to extend the lead from long range before Williams answered with a three-pointer to cut the deficit to 23-16 with 10:42 left in the first half. The Marauders stretched the advantage to 32-21 after knocking down four-consecutive shots before Williams responded with five-straight points to close the gap to 32-26 at the 6:56-mark. Millersville went on a 19-6 run after making 7-of-10 attempts to take a 51-32 lead into the break, while the Vulcans made just two field goals in the final seven minutes of the half.
In the second half, Cal U trimmed the deficit with a 7-2 rally by making three-of-four shots from the field to trail 53-39 at the 17:08-mark. The Marauders countered with a 16-4 run, including four-of-five field goals from three-point range to take a 69-43 advantage. Jermaine Hall, Jr. (Baltimore, Md./Severn School) and five-unanswered points from Pegram. Both teams exchanged baskets in the final four-plus minutes, as Millersville sealed the 84-63 victory.
Cal U finished the game with a .400 field-goal percentage (24-of-60) and made 8-of-26 (30.8 percent) from long range. Meanwhile, Millersville shot 52.5 percent (32-of-61) from the floor while converting 14-of-27 (51.9 percent) from three-point range. The Vulcans held a slight 37-36 edge in rebounds, while the Marauders notched 20 assists and 28 points in the paint.
Senior Marcus Adkison finished with 26 points on 9-of-14 attempts, including 7-of-12 from beyond the arc, in 29 minutes. Sophomore Caden Najdawi posted a double-double with a career-high 25 points on 10-of-14 shooting and added 10 rebounds in 25 minutes, while teammate James Sullivan totaled 12 points, eight assists and five rebounds in 34 minutes.
The Vulcans return to action tomorrow, Sunday, Dec. 2, when they travel to face West Chester in PSAC Crossover play, starting at 3 p.m.
