EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. (Nov. 1) – In its final game of the regular season, the California University of Pennsylvania women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at No. 3 East Stroudsburg in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play on Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Vulcans fall to 11-3-4 overall and 10-3-3 in conference play. Cal U earned the fourth seed in next week's PSAC Tournament and will host rival Slippery Rock in the quarterfinals on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Meanwhile, the Warriors improve to 17-1 overall behind a 15-1 mark in league play and earned the top seed in the league tournament.

Colon suffered the loss after making four saves in the second half after starter
Meghan Jayes (New Albany, Ohio/New Albany) tallied three saves before halftime on Saturday. Harris registered three saves to earn her seventh shutout of the season.
East Stroudsburg out-shot Cal U by a 14-8 margin, while the Vulcans held a 6-4 edge in corner kicks.
The Vulcans open play in the PSAC Tournament on Tuesday when they host Slippery Rock in the quarterfinals.
