With the victory, the California University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team improves to 2-2 overall. Meanwhile, Alderson-Broaddus falls to 1-3 this season after being shutout for the second-straight game.

Kevin Helbig (Carnegie, Pa./Chartiers Valley) added an insurance goal off a feed from sophomore
Lubos Kubik (Pardubice, Czech Republic/Roosevelt (Iowa)) at the 68:59-mark to stretch the lead to 2-0.

Shane Donovan (Pipersville, Pa./Central Bucks East) recorded the shutout while facing five shots on Saturday. The Vulcans out-shot the Battlers by a 13-7 margin and held a dominant 13-4 advantage in corner kicks.
