INDIANA, Pa. (Nov. 1) – The California University of Pennsylvania volleyball team extended its winning streak to 12 matches on Friday night with a 3-0 victory (25-14, 25-17, 25-23) at IUP in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play.
With the win, the Vulcans improve to 23-4 overall and 16-0 in league action. Cal U maintains its one-match lead over Clarion in the PSAC West standings with six matches left in the regular season. Meanwhile, the Crimson Hawks drop to 10-18 this season behind a 6-10 mark in conference play.

Molly Delaney (Carmel, Ind./Westfield) led the team with nine kills on a .409 hitting percentage. Junior
Laurel Miller (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) finished with seven kills on 31 attempts, while sophomore
Miranda Fouzie (Kingston, Ontario/Sydenham) added five kills and five blocks in the sweep. Freshman
Kristen Scurpa (Sharpsville, Pa./Sharpsville) directed the offense with 24 assists and added 12 digs for her third-straight assist/dig double-double.
Sophomore
Samantha Rudy (Greencastle, Pa./Greencastle-Antrim) paced the defense with 16 digs and Delaney tallied 14 digs. Sophomore
Ema Bobbitt (Greencastle, Pa./Greencastle-Antrim) collected a career-high three service aces against IUP.
Cal U continues its weekend road trip tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 2, when it faces Clarion at 1 p.m. The Vulcans are one of only two teams to post a victory against the Golden Eagles this season.
