Julia Muzy (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil/Liceu Franco Brasileiro) tallied her second kill/dig double-double of the season, as the Vulcans record a 3-0 victory (25-23, 25-11, 25-19) at IUP on Tuesday night in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play.
With the win, the California University of Pennsylvania volleyball team improves to 26-6 overall with a 14-4 mark in league action. The Vulcans currently hold a 0.5-game lead in the divisional standings over Clarion, who returns to action on Friday night. Meanwhile, IUP falls to 20-14 this season behind an 8-10 record in conference play.
Muzy tied her career high with 13 kills and added 12 digs for her second career double-double. She posted a .357 hitting percentage and added three service aces in the victory.

Brandy Harris (Bedford, Pa./Bedford) finished with 12 kills and classmate
Meghan Franz (Cranberry Twp., Pa./Seneca Valley) added 11 kills on a team-high .562 hitting percentage. Fellow senior
Kelly Fromknecht (Erie, Pa./McDowell) and junior
Abbey Freund (Cottage Grove, Wis./Monona Grove) directed the offense with 23 and 18 assists, respectively.
Junior
Molly Delaney (Carmel, Ind./Westfield) recorded 11 digs on Friday and Fromknecht collected eight digs. Freund and Harris both tallied seven digs against the Crimson Hawks.
Cal U concludes the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 10, when it hosts Mercyhurst at the Convocation Center for Senior Day at 2 p.m.
