WEST CHESTER, Pa. (Sept. 20) – The Vulcans played to a 0-0 double-overtime tie at West Chester in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play on Tuesday afternoon.
With its eighth shutout of the season, the California University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team moves to 6-1-2 overall and 1-1-1 in league action. Meanwhile, West Chester is now 1-4-2 this season with a 0-3-2 record in conference play after posting its second double-overtime tie in its last three games.

Charlie Dagnal (Carnegie, Pa./Carlynton) posed the shutout by making six saves after entering the week ranked 10th in NCAA Division II in goals-against average. Golden Rams' Garrett Bleiler finished with four saves in his first start of the season.
In the tie, Cal U out-shot West Chester by a slim 11-9 margin while holding a sizeable 10-3 advantage in corner kicks.
