Amy Johns (McKeesport, Pa./McKeesport) registered her eighth career double-double and tied her career in rebounds on Monday afternoon, as the Vulcans posted a 69-47 victory against Seton Hill in the second day of the Komen Shoot for the Cure Classic at the Kovalchick Complex.

Jess Strom. During the four-game win streak, the Vulcans are averaging 81.0 points per game while winning each game by over 20 points. Meanwhile, the Griffins fall to 3-6 this season after losing five of their last six games.
Johns scored a game-high 20 points and tied her career high with 14 rebounds (seven offensive) in the win over Seton Hill. She shot 9-of-21 from the floor on Monday and now leads the team in scoring this year with 18.0 points per game behind four 20-point games.

Elena Antonenko (Moscow, Russia/State University of Physical Education) finished with 12 points on five-of-seven shooting and eight rebounds (three offensive) off the bench. Sophomore guard
Ryah Gadson (McKeesport, Pa./McKeesport) tallied 11 points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals in the win. Senior guard
Danielle Luckett (Chicago, Ill./James Hubert Blake (Md.)) tied her season and career high with six assists against the Griffins.
With Seton Hill leading early in the game, Cal U mounted an 8-3 rally to take a 17-12 lead on a jumper by Antonenko with 7:41 left in the first half. The Vulcans built their lead to 12 points, 33-21, on a trey by Johns at the 4:03-mark before the Griffins trimmed the deficit to single digits, 33-25. Cal U then closed the first half on a 6-1 run to take 39-26 lead into the break.
The Vulcans started the second half on 10-6 run to take a 49-30 lead after Gadson hit a three-pointer with 15:58 left in the game. Seton Hill cut the deficit to 12 points, 50-38, before Cal U scored eight-straight point to take a 20-point lead, 58-38, after a jumper by Johns with 7:35 remaining. The Vulcans expanded their lead to as many as 24 points, 69-45, in the final seconds.
Cal U finished the game shooting 42.4 percent (28-of-66) from the field and 31.6 percent (6-of-19) from three-point territory. In comparison, Seton Hill made 32.3 percent (20-of-62) from the floor and just 25.0 percent (4-of-16) from beyond the arc. The Vulcans finished the game with a 48-35 rebounding advantage and scored 38 points from inside the paint, including 24 in the first half.
Junior Jalessa Beverly led the Griffins with 13 points and added six rebounds, while sophomore Tiara Stossel posted a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
The Vulcans are idle for nearly three weeks before returning to action with a pair of home Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Crossover games at the Convocation Center, starting Jan. 6 against Millersville at 5:30 p.m.
