MILLERSVILLE, Pa. (Nov. 12) – Facing No. 21 Millersville for the third time in three weeks, the No. 24 Vulcans suffered a 1-0 loss to the Marauders at Biemsderfer Stadium on Saturday night in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
With the loss, the California University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team finishes the year with a 12-4-4 record with three of its losses coming against Millersville. The 12 wins mark the fourth-highest total in school history and the Vulcans have posted at least a dozen wins six times in the last nine years. Meanwhile, the Marauders improve to 14-6-1 overall and advance to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament for the second time in school history.
After a scoreless first half, junior Matt Kadoch scored the game's only goal at the 83:45-mark off assists from Ryan Rohrer and Ethan Daubert.

Charlie Dagnal (Carnegie, Pa./Carlynton) made two saves on 11 shot attempts in the losing effort. Millersville's Brad Benzing earned his 10th shutout of the year after posting two saves on Saturday.
Both teams attempted 11 shots in the contest and the Marauders held a slim 4-3 advantage in corner kicks.
