KUTZTOWN, Pa. (Oct. 8) – Behind two goals and one assist from junior
Carley Work (Hopewell, Pa./Hopewell), the No. 3 California University of Pennsylvania women's soccer team claimed a 3-0 victory on Saturday afternoon at No. 16 Kutztown in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play.
With the win, the Vulcans improve to 9-0-2 overall and move into first place in the league standings with 23 points behind a 7-0-2 mark in conference play. Meanwhile, the Golden Bears fall to 9-3 this season and are tied for second in the PSAC standings with 21 points (7-2-0).

Chelsea Norbuts (Monroeville, N.J./Woodstown), her fifth assist of the year. Shortly after halftime, Work tallied her team-leading 13th goal of the season with an assist from junior

Kelsey Russo (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) posted her third goal of the year off a pass from Work, who now leads the team with 28 points after entering the year with 33 career points.
Senior
Paula Jackson (Kingston, Jamaica/Wolmer's Trust) posted her second-straight shutout and sixth of the year after making three saves in 90 minutes, while Kutztown's Casey Behrendt also made three saves in the losing effort on Saturday.
