EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. (Oct. 9) – After battling to a scoreless first period, the Vulcans suffered a 1-0 loss at No. 20 East Stroudsburg on Saturday evening in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
With the loss, the California University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team falls to 7-3-2 overall and 1-3-2 in league play this year. Meanwhile, the Warriors improve to 9-3 overall and claim first place in the conference standings with a 9-3 mark and 15 points.
The two teams remained scoreless until senior forward Shastri Spencer tallied his ninth goal (unassisted) of the season. The Vulcans' only shot attempt after trailing 1-0 when a kick by freshman
