EDINBORO, Pa. (Nov. 8) – The No. 16 Vulcans completed an undefeated record in divisional play for the second-straight season on Saturday with a 3-0 victory (25-23, 27-25, 25-20) over Edinboro University in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.
The California University of Pennsylvania finished the regular season with a 34-1 overall record and a school-record 12-0 mark in league play. With the recent expansion of the PSAC, the Vulcans bested the previous record of 10 wins in a season against PSAC West opponents. Cal U has lost only one set in the 12 league matches, winning 36 of 37 sets. Meanwhile, the Fighting Scots fall to 26-7 overall and 10-2 in league play.

Ludmila Amaral each registered 10 kills and posted attack percentage above .600 against Edinboro.

Marta Hodge led the defensive effort with 16 digs, as all nine Vulcans who played against the Fighting Scots registered two digs or more. Junior setter

With its undefeated divisional record, Cal U will serve as the No. 1 seed and primary host for next week's PSAC Championship Tournament. The Vulcans will open the tournament with a 7 p.m. match against Slippery Rock University in the quarterfinals on Tuesday. Nov. 11.
