CALIFORNIA (Oct. 18) – The Vulcans dropped a 3-1 contest against Lock Haven University at Roadman Park on Saturday in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play.
With the loss, the California University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team falls to 8-6-2 overall and 3-3-1 in league action, while Lock Haven improves to 9-4-3 and 3-1-2 in divisional play.

Jeremy Blymiller (Erie, Pa./McDowell) scored the game's first goal off an assist from junior forward
Mike Luecke (Harleyville, Pa./Souderton) at the 9:27-mark to give Cal U an early 1-0 lead. Blymiller ranks second on the team with seven goals, tying his career high set last season.
Lock Haven evened the score in the 13th minute with a goal from freshman Paul Huckett with an assist from Chris Wagner. The Bald Eagles took the lead at the 40:18-mark from a goal from freshman Greg Shertzer off an assist from Tony Ehrlich. Tommy Ehrlich then secured the win with a goal in the 41st minute with an assist from Shertzer.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Derek Yobbi (South Park, Pa./South Park) suffered the loss in net for the Vulcans after making two saves on 11 shot attempts in 90 minutes of action.
Cal U returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 29, when it hosts Pitt-Johnstown for a 3 p.m. start.
